Ethernet/Wireless Disconnecting.

Current programs are;

Microsoft Firewall
Microsoft Defender (possibly, im not sure)
Avast Anti-virus

The connections are in the private zone with windows 7, dunno if that makes a difference. Could anyone with a professional opinion tell me about the public and private zones with networks please ?

You shouldn't have Microsoft Defender and Avast running at the same time. Turn off Defender or uninstall Avast.

Couldn't really find any specific setting that could cause a disconnect. Anyone else have any ideas to my problem ?

Why not try Repair Install ? You can reinstall a Win 7 WITHOUT reinstalling any apps.

i have seen the repair install.

My only question is. Does it remove any files/folders or programs ?

Do a Repair installation if:

• A System Restore did not help fix your Windows 7.
• There is no other easier option left that can fix your Windows 7.
• You DO NOT want to do a Clean reinstall of Windows 7.
• You DO want to preserve your user accounts, data, programs, and system drivers.

I didn't recieve any discs with the laptop.

Also, i don't know how it will help. This has happened pretty early on.
