Event log for TCPIP connections.

Where is the network card connect & disconnect information please? In XP it was in the System Event log, but not in 7. I can get this information when I use a mobile as a tethered modem but I need to know when the LAN network card is detected.

I would also like to know where the network card connect & disconnect information is. I thought it was great to see what times the network disconnected. Does anyone know?

It logs troubleshooter data from connection issues, but I can find no evidence on my own home system detailing normal connections.

At work these are logged but a policy was created to make it so.

Can you find out where to go to set the policy so that it logs normal connections?

It turned out one of the other guys had actually written a vb app to handle it. that's why I never posted back sorry.

Does anyone have a vb app or something they can share with me to handle it?
