Event Viewer ID 6008

Hi Folks,
Everytime my Laptop was shutdown from 28 Oct. (I used the 'Shutdown' button in the start menu everytime.) I have got the same message in Event Viewer ID 6008 as in text.

Description:
The previous system shutdown at 02:35:28 on ‎23/‎11/‎2011 was unexpected.

Yes, I do use Avast on both of my pc's. The error I'm getting is only on the Laptop.

Are not you getting error 6008 about shut down problem? Have you gone through the thread. In that thread people are all reporting about getting the error about shutdown and vlk said its an avast problem and they are working on that problem. Also the error does not happen to everybody its related to avast and windows 7 not other OS (not sure though). You can try uninstalling avast and see if this solves the issue but remember uninstall and reinstall of avast does not solve the issue.
