Event Viewer - leave it be?

Just wondering what is best, leave it alone to build or occasionally clear it?

Mine is loaded with 'Warnings' & 'Errors' but have been told many times more or less to just ignore it as long as I'm not having a problem.

What do you guys do?

Been there, done that, then it never fails that something comes up & I wish I could see how far back an issue started. Right now I have oodles listed that I'd like to get rid of but at the same time there are some I think I need due to some of them being current "Errors" that I'd like to keep until my post(in another thread) gets resolved.
