Event viewer search errors

After uninstalling MSE, I used ccleaner to clean up some registry along with the suggested Microsoft fix-it for complete MSE uninstallation. After the reboot, my computer started a bit slower than usual so I checked the event viewer. I started getting event viewer errors and warnings relating to Event ID 3036, gatherer and various other errors about search. The majority of them were 3036 though. There was also an ESSENT error (eventID 455, logging/recovery) ---> Windows (4024) Windows: Error -1811 occurred while opening logfile C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\MSS00736.log.

I'm thinking about rebuilding my index but I've never done it so I'm not sure what will happen/how I should proceed. Thanks in advance.

Edit 1 - Also I was using the Take Ownership script in order to remove the MSE folder in ProgramData as MSE was causing issues but I'm not sure if this contributed to the search errors.

Is this still the factory preinstalled Win7 which is a corrupt install smothered with bloatware and useless duplicate utilities with better versions built into Win7? If so I'd Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
or at the minimum Clean Up Factory Bloatware.

After a few days, the search errors were less frequent so I'm not sure if I should still rebuild my index but I will try to clean up bloatware.

Yes I ended up manually fixing that issue by removing registries because EppOobe.etl kept coming back so I had to take ownership of a folder so I suspect that might've been the issue.

What is the status of the counterfeit copy of Win7 now, as determined in MSE related problem. It requires a response showing you are correcting this or we cannot help you further and you may be banned.

MSE will also detect and report bootleg copies. You should resolve this now.

Well I'm not in a position to be getting an OS and I've tried using Linux before and it didn't work out so I can't really do anything. Also I do not have MSE anymore but I've had MSE for a long time and that was the first time it happened.

Win7 will stop functioning soon. If you were sold the counterfeit copy by the tech who installed it then report it to MS Customer Service as they have a program which may reward you with a free copy for cooperating with their investigation. This may also help others who the thief tries to victimize.
