I have been at this for about 3-4 hours trying to decrease the boot time of my computer I was able to get it from 10 minutes down to 5-6.

I biggest thing I noticed is the time between the Windows animated boot screen and the actually blue login screen just shows a black screen about about 2 minutes or so. Anything I can do to decrease this? Logs, etc?

Boot time: 443258ms

Hi,

The best solution is to follow the instructions here:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...up-shutdown-sleep-hibernate-reboot-trace.html

and when you are ready contact the author to help you diagnose the issue. He is the expert when it comes to diagnosing startup/shutdown issues.

Regards,
Golden
I did that, but it failed at some point trying to use the pre<something>, Can't remember it was about 4 hours ago I did it.

Have you done everything in Clean Up Factory Bloatware?

Are you using MSE and have it as the only program starting with Windows besides gadgets/stickies if you use them?

Pretty much everything in there is done, There's only a few programs that start up when windows does.
