Hello guys!

If I try to search for something (that I know it is on program files, for exemple) on "C:" using the explorer search bar, it stays a long time searching and bring me back NO results...
But, if I go to program files folder, it almost bring me the result instantly!

I don't know why this happens...
The search was working fine on C: until 2 months ago, when I last used it...

Can someone help me?

Search - Have More Accurate Search Results

The problem might be that because the Search apps only search the 'Indexed Locations' the Programs folders you're trying to search through, may not be (or may no longer be, for whatever reason) included in your "Indexed Locations"?

How to Add or Remove Windows 7 Index Locations

To define areas to index: go to: Control Panel, Index Options. On this panel you can define the areas to index. Clicking on the Modify button will allow you to add any locations that you want Windows to index. (Doing so, also allows you to not index files you will never look for.) If you have files and folders in a different drive, then you need to add those as well if you wish them to be added to your Indexed Locations.)

PS You may have an issue with the Index itself. Take a look at this tutorial to see if you will have to rebuild your Index.

I've never indexed C:... unless it is indexed by default and now for whatever reason it's not indexed anymore.
So I think this problem isn't related to Indexed locations or not, because it worked fine without Index since I started using Seven.

I rebuilt the Windows 7 index and the problem continues.
