I use f.lux, but my graphics card has "hardware cursor" so my mouse is bright white. My current solution is to keep magnifier open, but I would prefer not to have to do that. When I try to play a fullscreen game, for example portal, like that, my mouse doesn't show up at all, and I have to close it. My idea is to make a cursor that is already colored like f.lux and set it in system settings. I would like to know how to change the temperature of an image, to make a 2700K cursor image. (If you guys have a better way to solve this, let me know, graphics card in system specs)

Yeah, but I'm picky about my mouse cursor and don't want it inverted XD (on XP I even set the cursor to Aero). I tried the registry hack speedgamer01 suggested, but haven't got around to relogging yet, will mark as solved if it works.

I know I'm late, but it could be of use to others :
You can display the pointer trails in mouse properties/pointer options, it won't be bright anymore.
Keep it to a minimum if you don't like the effect. I don't either, but it beats being bright white !

Oh I forgot to mark it as solved, it does work, it's just annoying since sometimes fullscreen games and programs will make it invisible and some don't even have a windowed option, so I just leave magnifier open all the time and can easily close it if needed. The registry hack does work though.
