f12 wifi button prob

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC; for some reason the function button 'f12' for Wireless on/off is not working........my wireless is currently off and therefore I need a wayout.right now f12 is in orange colour indicating wifi is off!!!i've checked for key issues n found tat the key works fine except to turn the wifi on!!!can somebody help me out!!!

Do you have a switch on the side of your laptop to switch on and off besides the wifi button sometimes you can accidently hit the switch on the side and no mater what you do it won't work

could be wrong but i know people who had that issue come to find out the switch on the laptop wasnt turned on

you might have to go into your bios and reset everything to defualt and then it should work
