How to factory reset to my laptop.
Windows Hang, BSOD Errors, Display Problem at once..

Beware: Factory recover erases all disk.
If you already created the recovery disks, you have two options.
- Normally on OEM installations, when booting, you can press a Fx key (F11 on some HP) and it will launch a interface to guide to a factory recover. If you enter BIOS it will also be there.
- Boot with the fist DVD created and it will launch a interface to guide to a factory recover.

1. Turn off your computer.
2. While holding down 0 (zero) key on the keyboard, turn on your computer.
3. A menu will be displayed from which you should follow the on-screen

After pressing zero downward, Nothing happen, system starts as usual.

Are you holding down the 0 key the entire time when you turn on the PC ?

If none of the suggestions given by Megahert work, then just watch the screen when you turn on the PC, it should show you which key to push to start the Recovery process.

Yes I do, press Zero keys simultaneously with power and releases after system boot

The Toshiba c640 has many different variations. There is a suffix that you have not informed.
Has your Toshiba c640 had the HDD replaced or was once the disk cleaned (partitions deleted) and Win reinstalled?

Yeah, I replaced HDD years ago.

Not sure why you'd want to restore all the preinstalled junkware
Just clean install
If you only have wifi internet access go to the manufactures website and download all the drivers you need to a flash drive so you can install them after.

The only reason I see why you might need to factory restore is you might not be able to see your activation key
Otherwise a clean install would be best

If you didn't create the Factory restore disks when you bought it, as you replaced the HDD, there is no Factory recovery partition on the new disk so you can't restore it.

You can do a clean install windows if you have the windows stick with the license code.
