Failed HDD; How should I proceed?

Hello everyone,
Personally, I don't know much about the hardware of a computer and need help understanding it. Almost half a year ago, my PC crashed for no apparent reason and I kept getting g BSoDS. I had no idea of what happened or why. I finally found an alternative solution; to reinstall Windows. However, I noticed that every 3 weeks or so, it would once again crash, and I had to repeat the entire process several times.

I have identified and removed the failing HDD, but I now need help proceeding so that my computer can run with only 1 HDD. I have switched the SATA controller from RAID to AHCI, but I have to face yet another problem.

Currently, I have gotten to Windows installation screen, but it asks for device drivers needed to access the hard drive, but the problem is, I don't know where to find them. I believe my motherboard is Intel X58 Chipset, and I have looked around, but I don't understand which driver to use. If anyone could guide me, it would be much appreciated

TL: DR: I have 2 HDDs, of which 1 failed and I need device drivers that can access the HDD. I have an Intel X58 Chipset motherboard.

Thank you very much in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

That request for drivers is for systems with unusual hardware that the install media does not have drivers for. Normally you would skip this part and proceed with the installation. I have never needed to do otherwise.

The problem is that the computer won't allow me to continue unless it has device drivers that can communicate with the hard disk, and I can't seem to find a way around it.

I'm now getting a message saying that "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the Dial's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu." Is there a specific reason as to why this message occurs, and how should I go about it?
