Fake AdwCleaner

On the HowToGeek forum they report about a fake AdwCleaner. I think Jacee had already once talked about that and recommended to use the Bleeping Computer site for download.

Thanks Jack, very good. Nowadays they give you a million download buttons and the one you really want is hidden. That is so much easier in the Linux download center - 1 button 'Install'.

Yes it's important to show people which is the download button can be very confusing with three or four download buttons
I remember going to the developers site once and it was in French

Ici il n'y a pas beaucoup de monde qui parle francais - quelques rares Belges et Canadiens peut-etre. Tu trouves plutot des gens qui parle l'Allemand.

Yes very nice of you to bring it to light as many of us do not know what is good for download or not. I sure will check with the forum before I do it again as my system was full of Trojans along with malware. Thanks

The last time I tested the authors French site it downloaded a bunch of Crapware along with AdwCleaner. You just don't know it unless you speak French until it's to late.
