Fake warning popup while browsing with Internet Explorer

A fake popup warning appeared while I was browsing something on IE. I forgot it's best to close Internet Explorer completely from the task manager when something like this happens so I closed it using the X window button and it appeared again a few more times until it closed. Malwarebytes blocked several websites when it opened and while I was trying to close it. If Malwarebytes and Windows Defender (MSE in Windows 8) scans don't find anything, is everything fine?

Usually yes everything should be okay,
I would dump MSE though and replace it with Panda.

You can double check with Superantispyware and even Adwcleaner too for good measure
But yes using Task manager is the best way to kill the process and repeat if necessary.

Well, for now, I'm ok with MSE. I'll scan with MSE and Malwarebytes and if it finds anything, I'll double check with SAS and Adwcleaner. It's late now so I'll do I it tommorow since nothing seems wrong for now.
