Scrubs - abalooly! Lost, Invasion. Life On Mars was really cool. And I used to think Star Trek TNG was the most well-written show on TV. I Hulu the Daily Show and Colbert Report. Can't live without the Sunday morning talking heads. Gwen Ifill and McLaughlin - "Wrong!".

I did build a special digital signal capture device for redirecting Fox News directly into my toilet. Mostly a time-saving device but it also keeps the smell down.

No, I really don't have time for TV. It rots your brain.

Just asking what's everybody's favorite TV show is. Laugh if you must but mine would have to be Star Trek. I want to stress though that I'm not a trekkie or a star trek geek by any means, I just like it. :p
+1

Anything and everything Star Trek -- I've always enjoyed Trek. Out of all the trek series, Deep Space Nine and Voyager are my favorites. I still watch Voyager episodes on youtube now and then. Like most trekkies, I felt Voyager deserved a better ending or perhaps even a movie based on one of the post-voyager novels. 'Homecoming' by Christie Golden is one that comes to mind.

Another excellent sci-fi series was Babylon 5. And let's not forget The X-Files, probably the best TV series of all time, IMO. The Cigarette Smoking Man is watching you...

And for the down-to-earth stuff, I'd say Melrose Place followed by Beverly Hills 90210.
