I just need to disassociate jpg or jpeg from Irfanview, which is normally the program I use for quick viewing those files. But, in Windows Explorer's type, Irfanview takes a lot of room (call me picky). For example, MP4 files are listed as such: MP4 File. But jpg isn't. How can I force Default Programs to just not list any program to open jpg or jpeg files, and instead ask every time I click on jpg or jpeg files. I know, someone will say but why? Well, we all have our quirks and that is one of mine.
For instance, I have an iPad. I asked in the Apple Communities if I could call the virtual keyboard on a whim. No one gave me a clear answer -- it can't be done -- without sermonizing about why would I want to do that, that is not what Apple meant. Sheesh! People have their own style.
So, can it be done to jpg or jpeg files?
Thank you.
