Solved Finding a proper cable modem

Recently I upgraded my internet service to 50mbps down and 5mbps up. I wanted to buy my own modem instead of renting it from the cable company, however I can't find one with all the connections. Every modem I look at is missing the phone cable jack. Are there any modems or modem/router combos that have all of the plugs I require or am i missing something?

Go to your ISP's website and see if they recommend a modem for your service. Some modems are faster with different services. Did you get cable, or DSL, or what type of service? There are different types of modems for different types of connections.

... and you can usually buy them from your ISP at about half the retail price...

thanks for the tip! couldnt find a single one with everything I needed and my isp didn't have any recommendations on one either, they were all the same with no phone line. your suggested modem gave me some ideas of what I was looking for so thanks again

My ISP is doubling my dl/ul speed, but I have to upgrade equipment. Since I use Voip phone and wifi, I was looking around and found that the ISP was offering one with everything for only 35 USD, so it should be in the mail Monday...
