Hi i have been using firefox for a few months now. I have noticed it does nto work properly. When i say this i mean when i close down firefox and load it back up i always have to go in task manager and end the process. This gets highley annoying.

Another issue which i have encounted is when i finally get into firefox and use google or google tool bar it loads up the results which i search but thats it when i click on a link it just shows loading and nothing happens.

It is not my internet connection as i use inter explorer at the same time and that works fine just slower than firefox.

Regards Paul

Disable all add-ons, and re-enable them one at a time. Quit out each time and see if one of them is causing FF to hang.

Are you running x86 or x64 editions of Firefox?

Well so far i have done all disabling and enabling of all my addons and i think it might be skype causing the issue

I have closed it down lots of times and done a few google searches with skype addon disabled and so far all seems good.

Ill report back to let you know how it goes on.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Paul,

Just a note on the X86/x64 issue unless you have specifically chosen to install the x64 version of Firefox you will be running x86, which is the only version available direct from the Firefox site

And thanks for teling me about the x64/x84 i didnt know about that and ye i am running x84 as i downloaded it directly from firefox website.
