Firefox vs. Windows 7

I've been having trouble with Firefox 3 (whichever is the latest revision, and the one before it) and Minefield lately and was wondering if anyone else has come across the same problem.

It seemed to occur even after disabling all of my add-ons (all one of them) so I don't think that's it.

Sometimes, when opening a page (from a google search, not from a site a regularly visit) or when submitting a form (such as the login form for this site), it crashes. I haven't yet tried either in their Safe Mode.

And for reference, I'm using Windows 7 x64 build 6801, and I've used the Blue Badge tool to enable the Super Bar and other features.

I think my friend using Firefox 3.0.3 has the same problem and even with some Flash Player so I just recommend to use the latest beta build which still works fine for me...
You can download it at:

I'm using the latest trunk build for Minefield (Firefox 3.1), which did improve slightly with yesterday's update, but it still has problems.

I think that is your problem. Isn't 3.1 still in Beta? I used it for a while, with the same problems, and had to revert to 3.04.

IE8 working fine here too, but Firefox recently started giving me a message saying it shut down unexpectedly whenever I close it. Haven't been in Vista for a couple of weeks but I have now decided to go back to vista until the Beta is released.
