Flash Drives for Windows 7

I recently purchased a Verbatim and a Scandisk flash drive. Neither of them will install the drivers.
When I contacted Scandisk, they said there is no longer any support for 7 and told me to go to 10.
I checked them out and they both work on 10.
Does anyone know of a usb flash that they know will work on 7?

ALL USB thumb drives and the like should work in Windows 7.

Is this some kind of backup USB hard drive or what?

What drivers are you referring to?

A USB flash drive is "plug and play" and will work as soon as you plug it in a USB port and give Windows 7 or Windows 10 enough time to detect it and advise you it is ready for use.

do you mean Sandisk, not Scandisk?

Win7/8.x & Win10/11 have "built-in" OS drivers for your Verbatim and Sandisk flash drives and should be recognized after first plugging them onto any usb port, so you do not need any special drivers for them

btw, I own at least 3 Sandisk usb flash drives with different sizes (an 8gb, 16gb & 32gb) and they all work with Win7 & Win10
