Yes, Gary, it did. I'm really embarrassed about posting that I needed help with that.

Never mind, though. I plan to self-flagellate for the remainder of the evening. :huh:

Tomorrow, my goals are:

1) install Ubuntu Linux on the 3rd computer (since I think MS has completely euthanized Windows with its latest miscarriage - Win 8). And then put that computer on the Win 7 network for file sharing.

2) set up my Denon AVR-2112CI 5.1 surround sound system. Can you believe that I need to connect a monitor to the amp in order to configure it to actually get sound out of my speakers??

(I'm using it for audio only - not AV surround sound.)

Good goals. I have a Denon AVR-791 which also uses a monitor for setup. I can't hear voices very well, the sound effects and background music drown them out.
