How do i force a higher refresh rate?
I tried with NVIDIA Control Panel but it said it wasn't supported.

I want to force it, because the image quality seemed to be a hell of a lot better from 30 Hz to 60 Hz, and i want to try 72 Hz or even 120 Hz for 3D :)

Thanks,
Alex.

What kind of monitor is it? Is it even rated to go that high at all or a 3D monitor? Would you like to fry it?

Hello Alex,

:warn: Unless your monitor supports these refresh rates, forcing this would be a very good way to fry your monitor.

I suppose i can't force higher refresh rates than supported if i don't want to fry it?

Yeah forcing rates over the hardware's limit does not improve anything anyhow.
60 is the default for most monitors. If you are seeking to increase frame rates in games. You can simply disable vsync in the game settings and in the control panel for your graphics card, and this will remove the frame rate cap in the games.
