Forcing Vsync Off with ATI graphics card

in windows XP the CCC of ATI works when using vsync always of but in windows 7 having the vsync off to always off don't work..

Are you sure it is not off. If trying to game- I know bioshock2 runs me crazy I turn it off in game it turns it back on. I turn it off in the card settings and off in game in game it is back on but showing off in the card settings. Is it causing you probs- or you just notice it and is bugging ya? If it is not hurting anything maybe just ignore it.

In xp Fraps use to lock my games at what I set its record fps at- Say 30fps, tho I have it set not to do it. But they seem to have fixed that.

W7 can be glitchy versus my xp pro sp2- it games well tho. I do have probs with codecs or reading discs or installing game patches- which I read vista was worst about a lot of stuff- I skipped it. Pretty much forced on w7, I can live with it. works better I think with sp1.

yes but a lot of older games like audition SEA capped my FPS to 60 or 75 depending in my resolution but in my other pc nvidia graphics card when turning vsync off it works..
