Hi ollie007

Welcome to SevenForums :)
Are you having issues converting media (video) to a standalone player (format) or do you want to convert the data (video) to fat32 format?

Regards

Hi ollie007

Thanks for the clarification.
Windows 7 uses NTFS format - and the NTFS format was first introduced, as the standard, with Windows XP.
You can find some of the information in relation to the formats here - NTFS vs FAT32 or here

Shawn of Seven Forums has a tutorial here on how to convert FAT or FAT32 volumes to NTFS, should you need to do that

Hope this helps and keep us posted on your progress

Thanks and regards

1) Click on Start Button -> type cmd.exe in the search box -> right click on CMD to get an Administrator Command Line. If prompted, press Yes or enter administrative credentials in the UAC pop-up box.

At the command line prompt, type:

format <drive letter>: /FS:FAT32

Then hit Enter.

2) Another solution is the command-line program fat32format.exe available here:

Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd

It is only capable of quick formats (no zeroing/checking), but it is very fast.
Then
