WaveShop is a free, open-source audio editor for Windows XP/Vista/7. WaveShop is fast, lightweight, and bit-perfect, meaning samples aren't altered unless they need to be. Editing a portion of an audio file only affects that portion; the rest of the file is untouched. Blocks of audio can be cut and pasted without changing their contents at all. I used to use IrfanView but moved to FastStone because I could do up to 4 side by side photo edit comparisons. Each comparison view can be scaled individually. This is very useful when doing photo editing which I use Photoshop Elements 9 with a range of plugins. FastStone has a color managed setting.

Yep mate been using the PW for ages now great not just for partitons but disk checking and wiping to. Only not recommended for SSD's (wiping) - Parted Magic best apparently.

downloads if you haven't used it it is a bootable disk app so you need to set the BIOS etc etc :)
