Has anyone tried installing Windows 7 on a Macbook? I've installed Windows 7 on my first gen Macbook (Core Duo 2 GHz, 1 gig of RAM), and it works fine, when it doesn't freeze. Sometimes, when I boot up, within a couple minutes the laptop might freeze completely. I can't move the mouse and the keyboard doesn't respond.

If the laptop doesn't freeze within the first couple minutes, then I can continue to run it fine. Just to note: I Windows Messenger Live 8.5 and GTalk are set to run on bootup, and I tend to only run Opera to browse on this thing. And for reference: I never experienced any freezing issues on Vista.

Any thoughts?

Yes! disable video Hardware acceleration in the advanced video settings. Core duo 2 has the infamous intel GMA915gm video adapter that Intel refuses to provide WDM driver...
