Solved Frequently Occuring BSOD :@

My computer specs :
Processor: Core 2 duo 2.66 ghz
Ram: 2 cards 2GB each
OS: Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate

Recently for about a month my computer is having BSODs quite frequently (3-4 times a day) It mostly occurs during multitasking.

Hello ruchan.
From your crash dump I am seeing some evidence of HDD/ filesystem corruption.

1. Update your SSD's Firmware (skip it, if it is not a SSD)
2. Reseat the sata and power.
3. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
4. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
   Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

Uninstall Daemon Tools. It is a frequent crash causer there.

And, you need to install Service Pack 1.

Version    6.1.7600 Build 7600

Let us know the situation when you are done.

I did as you told, except the service pack update is left. Doing it asap.

The seaTools "long Test" ran successfully.

No BSODs till now .
but umm.. What to do about the daemon tools? Any alternative?

There are some alternatives, but all them are problematic.

The best is to use 7-zip or winrar, as they can extract any iso files, and if extracted, you will get it all, except the autorun. Chalega?

If not, to try Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview, but make it sure that you are removing the startup entry for it. Use it only when it is needed.

More BSODs :/

I thought the Bsod stopped for now, but yesterday it started again.
Only yesterday it happened for about 7 times within 10 minutes. Everytime i start the computer and within a minute the screen would appear.

pfn_list_corrupt is one of the BSOD error i noticed. So I did the memtest86 upto 9 Passes but found no error.

With my above mentioned spec in computer I got
2 HDD (80 GB+500GB different Manufacturers)
2 (2GB RAM different Manufacturers)

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight, per RAM module per slot.

Moreover, your crash dumps are not showing any finite probable cause. In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.
