frog changing sex

in jurassic park part one, the hero said that

african frogs are known to change sex in a single sex environment

is it true or fiction only

Definitely true

The
African Reed Frog is one example, it is also quite common in certain types of Wrasse (Fish), normally when the Male/Female balance is not correct

There are some reports from the US that state that certain agri-chemicals are causing frogs to spontaneously change sex

Many of the live-bearing fresh and brackish water fishes, such as swordtails, platies, and mollies, will also change sex from female to male. I've seen it happen with swordtails in my own aquariums.
