Full Format Hard Drive with Windows 7 Boot Disc

Running this then using the outline in Step Two #2 to create and format a partition using diskpart will get you a clean all and a chkdsk /r for the best possible space to install Windows 7 to.

I have just been reading through the User Manual for this particular program, which I am currently downloading, but I just cannot see any mention of exactly how (or where!) to actually write zero's to the entire drive.

It is probably staring me in the face, but I am blowed if I can see it! :confused:

Why don't you use this if you going to the entire Hard Disk Drive as it will not do a single partition.

If you need to do a partition-specific wipe (secure erase) have a look at Option Three of this tutorial at the link below.

Thanks for the quick reply. It is for the whole drive, so I will use that instead of the Seagate program, which didn't even manage to complete its download anyway!

I want to divide my hard drives into c,d,e as there is only one drive of 500 gb i.e c drive. And i want to divide without formating the laptop. So plz help and tell me how can i divide the hardrives without formatin my laptop. And can u tell me what is the basic difference b/w core-i3 processor and core-i5 processor?
