Best answer: Avoid it

It will cause issues. There is no such 'boost' that can be applied to windows 7

The term snake-oil comes to mind.

If you're running a computer that barely has the specs to run Windows 7, then it might be of some limited benefit. Other than that, as yowan said, avoid it.
