Give it a try i found it helped my friends a lot, but for me it didn't actually help. It seemed to make mine worse. If your gonna play video games, the biggest help i have found is using windows ready boost on a flash drive. This will not help much of course if you have lots of ram.
Here is my personal link for windows reayboost : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i4l0jt1dn9abej3/AKhoGM2fOT
my personal link for gamebooster : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5nxvarefjh1i6ns/H9KgykoB6a

EDIT: AS in your case ready boost will be render less. Question with specs like those, why do you want something such as game booster?

Same hear with specs like those, you don't need something such as game booster.

But it help's sometimes in some games. As example i was
trying to play Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time. But it's graphics are very choppy
and the game is lagging every second but when I've played it with game booster
the results are very good and game runs very smooth.

So it could be a help sometimes but not always.

It helps to an extent but only if your low on ram or your cpu bogs up with all the services open and all gamebooster does is close some services that windows opens that aren't necessarily needed when playing a game and leaves more room for your cpu and ram to handle. That's basically all it does.

well in my opinion game booster softwares does'nt help at all.. i mean gaming totally depends on the hardware and the configuration. If you have all the required softwares installed in your OS like updated video and audio drivers, directx, video codecs like the one that came with Zoom Player and a antivirus like MSE that does'nt eat your resources so you may not need any game booster at all. they don't make any difference in performance expect shutting down applications and services running in the background.

So for me it'd be pretty useless on my pc. lol.

But some people might disable the wrong processes thus crashing there system ect. So gamebooster "can" affect your system, but it really depends on what kind of system you have.

It all depends on how much stuff you have running in the background. If you're running a pretty much stock setup you won't notice a difference but if you have a lot of background processes, especially ones that tap heavily in to windows resources, you are going to notice the difference.
Did a test with fraps on Borderlands and it gave me 5-7 fps boost, I use it all the time when I am gaming on my laptop.
