When opening any Windows game in win 7 pro, the game opens and then a dialogue box opens and says that the game ececutable has stopped working.

Can this be repaired?

These are the normal windows games that come with win 7 platform installation that reside in the "Games" folder.

They work in Win 7 Home Premeium but are not working in Win 7 Pro.

And did you install win7 pro over home premium?
Or is it a complete different install?

Two different machines, both factory installs.

Gateway, Win 7 hp; games work

Dell, Win 7 pro, games don't work via the icon exe but will work through Windows Media Center.
