game profile?

Hi,
I'm searching on how to create a Game device profile for Seven.
This profile 'd be lighter than Home, in order to play games smoothly.
Mind i don't mean New User Profile, but Hardware profile linked to a New User i 'd call Games.

In Win XP, it's easy to do, and so i can disable many services that i don't need for gaming.

Any help 'd be appreciated.

theres a program, but i cant recall the name. im pretty sure someone mentioned it in the Software section, in 'free apps that work with seven'. try using the search button in that thread, search for the game in posts. i'd look, but im in the middle of a ham steak atm.

I was using the v1.0. Gonna have a try to the v1.21...

yup. thats sounds about right. i remember a user saying how awesome it was. i personally have never used it. but glad to be of help.

Some reckon it's the bees knees, others reckon it's useless.

I think it works better with lower end hardware where the impact of disabling services would be more noticeable.

Yes, GameBooster v1.21 works better than v1.0, it's obvious.
But it is not as powerfull as a game harware profil on WinXP.
Combined with FSAutoStart, it become a little better (tough FSAutoStart does not work properly on my desktop).

I'll be honest, I tried GameBooster yesterday to see if it helped me run Doom3 on my low end (IMO) machine.....No change, still sluggish, even on low detail with all advanced GFX options turned off

Your last chance is to combine FSAutoStart + Game Booster + ending some other unnecessary Services (as i have to do now)
