Gamespy comrade refuses to work

I think you need to completely wipe it off, uninstall, then manually delete the program folder before reinstalling.
Probably wouldn't hurt to type %appdata% in the start bar box and hit enter and make sure it doesn't have any settings hidden there. (the folder would be named gamespy or comrade if it exists)
After that manual clean up I would then attempt another fresh install.
I can't find anything about this app not running on win 7, so I can only assume something has gone really wrong with the program.
Other possibility antivirus or firewall app is blocking it.
