So I am wondering how to get aero to work with this old video card.
i know its an old POS but its all i have for the moment.
i searched the forums for ppl with similar issues, and was told, and did, install the 72.30 drivers, and they work for directx at least, which is better than beforehand, when i got the blue screen of death whenever i tried to access directx.
now i'm trying to get aero to activate.
my score is a 1.9 for graphics on the windows index, is that just too low?

Yeah, I have officially given up. It needs a 3.0 or better to even consider working. Its got the 128mb of ram required, it doesnt have the wddm or w/e u need in the driver tho.
I think ill just go to bestbuy on black friday lol.
My huge problem with getting a new video card is the fact that I have an agp slot instead of pci-e.
I need to get a new motherboard/cpu, except for that anything new will have ddr2 ram, and ill have to upgrade that too.
I might as well just build a new computer one of these days.
Perhaps with my christmas bonus lolz
