Dear Forum,

I am just about to do a reboot and clean install.

I have had a procedure done yesterday and have not had much time to notice much.

What I have noticed is that ever since I changed the properties of the external USB Hard Disk Drives whilst the other computer was turned off - I have lost some data or something has happened.

I am sorry if it may be nothing. I am just stressing.

If someone could possibly talk me through what may have happened. It has crashed since and I am at a loss what to do.

I guess without anyone knowing what documents I have been working on - I have not been able to search much and dropped some data onto my large USB Hard Disk Drive.

Thank you

I don't see any details about an actual problem or what we're supposed to be looking for. Help us help you by explaining the problem and we'll start from there.

Hello Forum,

I am sorry for the lack of information - yet again.

I also have the prior screen shots that you can look at the old partition wizard with it down the bottom. It is the USB 1TB External Hard Drive that I am looking at the F drive I think.

It has more free space that I think I saw before and I am scared.

My computer has crashed several times and I neglected to notice the change.

I have not changed much, but changed the properties to not being shared.

I am so very sorry

In both Windows Disk Management screens, the F: drive shows 252 GB free - there does not appears to have been any change between the two.

I am sorry that I did not clarify what drive I am looking at.

In the first screen capture from the partition wizard there is 931.51GB that is available.

In the Disk Management that you requested it mentions that there is 550.91 that I am not sure what that is related to.

Thank you - I am glad that another Forum Member when my other disk drive was asking to format - asked for a screen shot. I did not even know what I was looking at.

I come from an accounting background - so I look at numbers - not a computers guru
