Genius Colourpage HR6X Slim Scanner

Hi

I have recently installed W7 RC and it tells me that it cannot find the driver for my Genius Colourpage HR6X Slim scanner. Has anyone out there got their HR6X on W7 to work and if so ... how ...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Hi Videoman, welcome to the forums.

You can get the drivers you need from Genius Scanner Driver Download 1.5 for Genius ColorPage scanners HR6X

You will need to run the installer in compatability mode for XP (rt-click, properties, compatability)

   Note

Only click the 'Click here to Download*' text

Thanks OS ... I ran the Intel Processor Identification Utility and unfortunately my CPU does not support Hardware Virtualization and will therefore not be able to run in XP mode ... pity. Any other ideas anyone, otherwise I will just have to connect my scanner to my other PC running XP.
