Solved Get Windows 10 App Not Working

I do not have the get windows 10 app on my computer. The windows 10 icon has never appeared at the icon tray. My system is up to date. I have a genuine copy of windows. I have above the minimum PC specs. I have always been connected to the internet. I have tried the Windows missing icons fix batch and all of the methods. I used it and said I had all the required updates. I also have the C:\Windows\System32\GWX folder with all the required files but when I try to open it up it does not open.

Max have you checked through all your emails? I got the notification through an email and also the code for it.
Now I downloaded the 10 and made an ISO cloned my 7 drive and stuck the 10 on it - works fine.

Now two other options you could try is either
phone Microsodt and ask why you have nt been given this option

Look in Customise in the Notification Area

ask in the 10 forum - same folks as in here so just sign up for that.

Solved it in the tenforums, had to enable internet explorer, had disabled it to save space as I use chrome.

Yep it was just the preview and although the final version will be different to all intents and purposes it is up and running though I do have reservations about it after running it for a bit.

Talking about the icon in the task bar called the get windows 10 app, its solved now do not worry.
