Getting a BSOD when trying to boot into Windows 7.

Today, I pulled a harddisk out of my old laptop that I had still lying around. It was an old Alienware M13x with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. A little over a year ago I totaled the screen by accidentally stepping on it, and the repair costs were so high I decided to just buy a new laptop.

Anyway, a while ago I got a new desktop PC, and so finally got a chance to hook up my old hard disk from that laptop. It was only about 210gb, but there are some very valuable files on that thing I've been waiting to recover. So I opened up my desktop PC, disconnected the hard disk, and hooked up the old one from my laptop.

The problem now is that whenever it tries to boot up, it immediately goes into a blue screen for a split second, then reboots. I've tried everything already, Startup Repair, System Recovery, nothing works.

So I turned off automatic reboot after system failure, and took a picture of the blue screen. I was hoping maybe someone here could help me find a way to fix this.

But I'd just like to say, there's no need to suggest a clean install. This is a 210 gb harddisk, it's worthless to me save for the files that are still on it. If I can't retrieve those in any way, I might as well just toss it in the trash.

Anyway, here's the picture:
