Make sure the system is not overheating - if you must, open up the case and point a house fan into it.
As for the PSU - that's your call. I'm no PSU expert - but if it is the PSU, then it most likely won't show up in the memory test (because that doesn't use that much power).
Can you borrow a more powerful PSU to experiment with? Can you purchase one from a shop with a good return policy? That way, if it's not the PSU - then you can return the new PSU and get your money back.
