Getting error code 0x8007042c when trying to start windows firewall

Once you're done installing the Drivers try this

Open notepad . Inside notepad paste the highlighted text below

net start KeyIso

exit

Click on File select Save As
Location to save to : Desktop
File name: ResetWindowsFirewall.bat
Save as type : All Files
Click on Save button

On the desktop right click on ResetWindowsFirewall.bat select

once its done restart the PC .

   Note

the command prompt will close on its own

Hi VistaKing,

Tried installing the drivers but there was some problem while installation of bluetooth and wireless card.

Please find attached the screenshot showing the error while installation of wireless card.

I think the Atheros ethernet card driver's installation went fine.

The device manager is still showing the "!" symbol for those network drivers.

Also tried to start the service manually but no success.

Restart the PC and try again . Those are the only drivers for your Service Tag

Tried all the drivers suggested by you but none worked.

Getting the same error as shared in post no. 25

Should I restore my pc to an earlier restore point.

Did the LAN driver work ? If so run Windows Updates and see if the drivers install from there .

No Sir they did not work.

Can you right click on the items with :warn: select Properties . On the Properties window click the Details tab under property click on the drop down menu select Hardware Ids and take a PrntScrn and upload it .

The zip file contains .sys and .inf files no exe files so what should I do with those?

Right click on the LAN inside Device Management choose Update Driver .

Tried updating the driver but got the error as shown in the attached screenshot.

Still no success.

I read somewhere that this could be due to some problem with the "ndis" file not sure though.
