Getting STOP 0x0000007B when starting Windows

Hi everyone.

Recently, I've been getting a lot of BSODs and I've been trying to find what may cause them. I used the Device Manager and disabled a couple of devices. I've probably disabled a necessary device, and now when I'm booting my PC, it's getting to the point when it shows the Windows 7 logo, and then restarts, and so it gets into an endless restart loop.

I then pressed F8 to try get into Safe Mode, but Safe Mode is not working as well. So I then pressed F8 when starting Windows again and chose "Disable automatic restart on system failure" to see what error code is being thrown. It shows the following:

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (...)

Unfortunately I don't think I can get dump file because Windows is not working at all, but I have a very good assumption that I disabled a critical device in the Device Manager. Here is the list of devices that I've disabled:

Acronis Backup Archive Explorer
Floppy disk drive (don't have any floppy disk drive)
Standard floppy disk controller (same thing as above)
High Definition Audio Device
[B]PCI bus (*I think the problem is here and is related to the on-board graphics card. I think It's an Intel graphics or something like this.)[/B]

My question is: is there any way to somehow enable this PCI bus device from anywhere? I have a very strong belief that disabling it was my mistake.

I would appreciate any help.

Can you boot in safe mode, and make those devices active again?

As I previously said, Safe Mode is not working either and is getting up to the point when the Windows logo is shown and then restarts - just like the regular startup.

OK ronts .... do one more thing .....

Boot into http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/668-system-recovery-options.html following the option two of the tutorial. When done, choose "Command prompt", the last option.

In the command prompt, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotes).

Now, try to enable the devices.

Does it work? Let us know.

As you have said it is Stop 0x7B that you are getting, it might be a "bootkit" .... so you need to scan for it, too. You cannot run TDSSKiller right now, but opt for WDO.

I typed "devmgmt.msc" and this is the response:

'devmgmt.msc' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

And about the WDO - I burned it just minutes ago and it wants me to update to definitions file, though I don't have internet connection.

Anyway, I have a strong assumption that the BSOD is not caused by a bootkit, but rather because of the disabled devices. Do you know a way to enable a device through the registry or any other way?
