Solved Getting updates for I.E 11, how do I stop them ?

Microsoft wants to keep me updated with I.E 11, but I don't want it.

I am busy working away and I see a box come up that "updates are ready for me to install", one of which was I.E 11.

I do not want I.E 11 or I.E 10 for that matter.

Once I.E 11 installed it locks and I can not use it ( Outlook is OK )
How can I turn off this paricular update, but keep the rest of the various updates for Win 7 etc. etc. ?

The only way that I can get out of this situation is to use "system restore"

Right mouse click on the update and click "Hide update".

Hi there is also a Toolkit to Disable Automatic Delivery of Internet Explorer 11 .. Not sure how it works though as i don't use IE
