whenever I have graphics drivers enabled, the screen simply goes black when Windows starts. It's been occurring since yesterday, when my computer crashed with the same 116 while playing a game. The screen went completely black and the last audio segment looped. It probably doesn't show since I have it disabled, but I have a NVIDIA GTX 760 card. I have never overclocked or generally tampered with it, nor have I changed any settings or drivers immediately prior to this behavior.
Given that I've tried multiple different driver versions with clean installs, is this an indication that the card is dead? I can't imagine that it's a result of overheating or too low power, given that it has worked wonderfully without modification for the past 2 years and it crashes on what is presumably the very first usage of the GPU rather than any intensive usage.
I used to get graphics-related BSODs some months ago with varying error codes that could've presumably been related to overheating, if that's relevant.
