gigabyte HD4350 AND WINDOWS 7 PERFORMANCE

Hi i have just installed the above card into my computer and my windows performance score is 3.7
3.7 for graphics
5.8 for gaming graphics is should the graphics be more than the gaming graphics and if it is any ideas how to sort the problem out
the card has 512 mb memory running windows 7 home prem

Welcome to seven forums denny17. I think your getting all you can expect out of the card, after reading a review on it. I also don't think you should be all that concerened with the WEI score as long as the card is doing what you expected from it. that is just aero performance and that card is more than adequate the run aero at full.

The WEI score and comparison with modern hardware is pretty much just a pissing contest and should be taken as such...

I think something is off. That is quite a low score for such a nice card. It may not be the fastest thing ever, but it's still the HD line. 4xxx no less.

I'd update the chipset drivers along with the video card drivers too, to latest. For video, use the latest from ATI's site, not Gigabyte's.

It's good practice to update everything you can find to latest. Drivers and software apps too.

yer i have tried updating all the drivers and still no change in it dont know what also it could be

take a look at my system specs hybrid crossfire 3450w/ onboard 4200 and my aero score is 3.7... aero runs just fine all eye candy on. I have built so many systems both vista and seven identical hardware, right down to manufacturer all same drivers with differentiating WEI scores... Its just a number

Old thread but I have put a new machine together with a 4350 out of my old machine and it gets a score of 3.7 also.

While folks think the 4350 should perform better I disagree, the scores I see them reporting in WEI is from 3.6-3.8 so your 3.7 is the mean score.
