Google chrome portable not updating?

when i try to update chrome its saying "Update Server Not Available (error: 1)"
what should i do?

I don't think Google Chrome portable is meant to be updated, as it is not an official Google project. You'd need to completely replace it with a newer version. Not a big deal, just export all your bookmarks using the bookmark manager and re-import them in the new version.
