Soo... I just upgraded from a 8800GT one to a GTX 260.
But atm I don't really see any improvements.

Fps on wow (for instance) didn't went up a bit.
GTA4 looked almost the same.

The fps on wow did even get lower than it was and the graphics look worse.

I have the latest drivers 186.18 and I'm running 64bit.

New drivers came out today, think it fixed some GTX 2xx issues.. but maybe caused others? Try downgrading.

No improvements.

In wow it even take time (1min or so) to load the shadowsa nd most of the players. :/

EDIT: Is there a test, a program or something that can show what's going on so you can base yoru replied upon that?

Or maybe showing my Nvidia control panel settings etc.

download driver sweeper to completely remove old drivers and the try re-installing new ones have you got your quad core overclocked ? if you do your gpu benefits from that hugely. also your res is 1440x900 19" Monitor man your card needs res at least 1680x1050 to stretch its legs mate that could also be a factor

Gotta thank you. The fps only went up a few bit but I guess I'm in a really crowded area aswell.

The graphics looks better though.

Too bad my screen can only handle 1440x900 :P

And i've read a few things about wow too, its not all about the gpu. :P
