GTX460 SC/Dual Monitors

This new card is working okay for the most part, except that unlike my old card, which would send a signal to both my LED and CRT monitors during the BIOS run and after reaching desktop, this one only shows a black screen on the CRT until the desktop appears.

I have tinkered with the Nvidia Control Panel settings, which as expected, had no effect on displays prior to commencing Windows.

As far as I understand, this only leaves BIOS settings, but I don't know of any settings that would improve this...is there?

Unplug the LCD. Theres something about HDTV connects to HDTV's. They do not display the bios POST screen. Once inside bios, you can see if you can assign the CRT as default monitor.

Inside Windows display you can assign which is primary monitor.
The CRT has a 15 pin plug?
Your vid card has two DVI outputs?
You use DVI to 15pin Dsub adapter for CRT?
LCD input is? DVI, HDMI, RGB?????

You list 2 vid cards, same machine? The GTS for PHYSX?
Both monitors in the 480 card?

This confuses me, because I don't think that there is any setting in the BIOS for selecting a default monitor?

If standard VGA is 15 pin, then yes.

Yes, plus a mini HDMI

No.

No, that is for a secondary computer

Both monitors in the 480 card?

Both monitors connect to the 460 GTX.
