Im a COMPLETE begginer to this but i was trying to install windows 7 on my old laptop and after making a bootable USB with the dell recovery tool , i am running into some problems. It hangs on disk.sys on the safe mode and when i start it normally the splash screen just freezes as soon as the windows logo trys to pop up. Ive tried this with other windows instillations and same problem. If anybody could help i would appreiate. The boot mode is UEFI. If anyone could help me get windows 7 on this originally windows 10 laptop i would be very thankful
