Yesterday my boot drive started making a beep then click noise so I started to backup everything from that drive to another but I didn't get everything in time as there was at least 800mb of data on it, by the time it stopped I must have been over half way of copying the data, now I'm booting on another drive but I'd really like to get the data off of the beeping drive.

I've taken it apart and put the actuator in the rest position, no difference still beeps, taken the pcb off to check for any burns, no burns. The hard drive hasen't been dropped or moved at all so there shouldn't be any physical damage, I've also taken the top off and plugged it in and there's no movement at all from the actuator or the spindal.

Not sure what else can be done here so any info would be great, don't really want to spend over £400 on recovering data

If you have taken the drive apart to the point where you are able to see the platters and drive heads you have made a serious mistake. This can only be done safely in a specially designed "clean room" using special tools and following specific procedures. Exposure of the drive internals to normal unfiltered air often does serious damage. A commercial data recovery service may be able to recover at least some of your data but there are no guarantees. Most such services have a policy that there is no charge if no data can be recovered but that does not apply if the drive has been opened. They will know.

It is always best to make backups of your data BEFORE problems develop. All files of any importance need at least 1 backup copy, 2 or more backup copies for files of particular importance. Recovery of data after a problem develops cannot be relied on.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but we must accept reality.

Yeah, I have taken the cover off HDDs for the purpose of demonstrating the inner workings. The label has to be peeled back to reveal the last screw holding the cover which is used to help stabilize the spinning disks, no way to put the label back.
