Solved Hard Drive Filled Up

I posted a new post.
I want to write shorter!
I visited the Windows Seven Forum Update problem area mentioned in Megahertz07's post above.

I found THIS! :(

Note for home users
This article is intended for Support agents and IT professionals. If you're looking for more information about fixing Windows update errors, please go to the following Windows websites:

I know "some" of this but NO WAY am I "Support agents and IT professionals."

I SHOULD post my own thread.

What do I call it so you know I wrote it upon seeing your link here?

I'm kidding with you.... but title should be: "I give up...shoot the computer?"

why?

Because I know from other posts I did years ago:

1. I have no (or corrupted) CBS folder Told I should totally erase and reformat HDD and reinstall all 300 programs over again... (in my most wonderful dream when I actually have time and knowledge to do this feat!)

2. My VSS was corrupted by "something" it can't be a Virus as I had Norton at work (That was the day I got Malwarebytes to get anything Norton missed.

So... reading the instructions for DISS? and other CBS needs in the update section of Windows Seven Forums... I think I cannot do anything to provide you with diagnostic data... so what then? I give up????

Didn't want to be so down on last post in this thread!

So giving three cheers for JohnHD and fixing his HDD full problem!!! Carry on! :D :D:D

See how big is C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download.
Is where windows store downloaded updates. Delete all them but the recent ones.

"Access Denied". How do I get around that?

See if there isn't Win 10 installation files on a c:\
Where would those be hiding?

Is your account a administrator type?

Where would those be hiding?

Navigate to the C:drive and look for these folders: $Windows.~WS and $Windows.~BT.
